The history of the West Baden Springs Hotel and "the Carlsbad of America" is fascinating . . . and still being written -- metaphorically, because the hotel has been rescued from oblivion, restored, and is up for sale, and actually, because while my collection of cards from the hotel is growing, this virtual album is still under construction.
