This is another card in the series published by the Tresslar 5c & 10c Store in Salem, produced by the Auburn Post Card Mfg. Co. (See the Tresslar High School card.) The same view, but with its caption printed in red, appears in the Grimes "Red Caption" series.

Like the rest of the Tresslar set this card could belong in the decade of the the 1910s, rather than the 1920s. The trees in this view were planted after the library was completed in 1905 (compare the red-back library and the Robertson Drugs library cards: the tree growth in this photograph might indicate a date as early as the beginning of the 1910 decade, which would fit with the cabinet factory card.

The card is unused, so there's no postmark to help date it. (6/11/03)
