Like the other Grimes cards, this one uses the same printing plate as the Tresslar version, but the caption has been changed -- in this case, printed in red ink in a different typeface.

This card was used. It is postmarked from Salem at 10 a.m. October 17 and addressed to Mrs. Chas. S___, 11th & Franklin Sts., Tell City Indiana. The year in the postmark is illegible, but might the same 1919 written in the message: "Salem, Ind. Oct. 16, 1919. Dear Friend -- We are gradually moving back toward you folks, & in your district again. Two ladies from here will be at the W.F.M.S. at English next week. You will have to run over & see us. Mr. Eller saw Bro. Hermann at Indpls. at Conference. Best wishes from Mrs. Eller." The "W.F.M.S." sounds like a church group. (6/11/03)
