This is another real photo card, a photograph taken about the same time as the view that follows (compare the growth of the trees on the courthouse lawn), and perhaps taken by the photographer who took the preceding photograph of South Main Street -- the cards are printed on the same type of paper, and seem to be about the same vintage. The paper is dated in the period 1914 to 1917. Just as we compared advertising signs in two cards of South Main Street, we can compare the trees in this photograph and the next view, Courthouse (Winter), to the 1908 courthouse view.
