This is the second of five cards from the same set -- printed on the same textured paper, with the same back design.

This card was mailed from Salem at 5 p.m. July 6, 1911. It is addressed to Miss Pearl Haganman, 722 W. 8th St., Bloomington, Ind., and the message, partially obscured by cellophane tape marks, reads, "Dear Pearl, How did you spend the fourth. We all went to Pekin and had a fine time. I suppose it is warm enough up there for you. I am trying to make ____ a new dressing ___ue today! Hallie."
