Presbyterian Church, Salem, Indiana
This card was made by the Curt Teich Co. of Chicago (the logo at right appears on the back of the card). This card is numbered 5706, and was postmarked from Salem at 12 noon September 8, 1908. Its undivided back was the norm for postcards prior to 1906, so this card was probably a couple of years old when it was mailed. Like the elementary school card it is addressed to Miss Sadie Marshall of Champaign, Illinois. The message on the front reads, "You said you didn't know there were so many nice buildings here. __ you know that Salem is a swell place. where is Bill ____. if you ever see him tell him Hello for me Mattie."
