This card is published by Apple 5 & 10c Store, Salem, Indiana, according to the publisher's credit that runs up the left edge of the back. It is numbered 3414, which indicates that it is one of series, although this is the only card I have seen of its type, with the italic caption and large size of the image that make it rather distinctive. It is a sharp, contrasty image crisply printed on good, glossy stock, but the back design is unlike any other in the collection, and gives no indication of the manufacturer.

The view of the school building is interesting because it shows another phase of the construction, with a fence erected probably to keep people off the newly planted lawn. There were so many postcards of the high school issued that we can follow the finishing work on the exterior seemingly day by day.

The card is unused, and the divided back is clean except for a penciled "T" in the lower right corner. (12/01/04)
