The Salem Milling Co. was located on South Water Street in 1900, and in 1908 it built this grain elevator -- capacity 35,000 bushels -- across Small Street from the Monon depot. This card was probably printed locally at the time the elevator was opened for business. It doesn't carry any publisher's marks.
